About

we will be heard logo 2021.png

The WWBH event was founded as a fundraising and educational response to the murder of Black people in the U.S inside Secondlife. This week-long event to be held on July 4-11, 2020, included Poetry Slam, Panel Discussions, Activist Artwork, Photography Exhibits, Music and Dance Tributes, Movie screenings, and merchandise created to support the cause. After successfully raising and donating over $1 million ls in 2021, the creators of this event along with a team of people that helped with the first WWBH, have decided to make this an annual event with different focuses each year to champion for the rights of the under heard and to have the hard talks about difficult topics with the community that is open to learning.
